About Kelp Sense
Through a network of valuable friendships and partnerships within the fishing industry, Kelp Sense emerged with the opportunity to introduce a unique product to the agricultural market. Drawing on the knowledge and expertise of seasoned professionals, we recognized the untapped potential of the ocean’s biodiversity. This led to the founding of Kelp Sense, a company dedicated to harnessing marine resources for sustainable solutions.
Kelp Sense thrives through strong, ongoing partnerships, continually developing and expanding our range of products. We are proud to have obtained authorization to harvest Ecklonia Maxima from extensive coastal areas in the Western and Northern Cape Provinces of South Africa. This allows us to export and supply both national and international markets with high-quality marine products.
Ecklonia Maxima, a species of kelp native to the southern oceans, thrives along the southern Atlantic coast of Africa, extending from the southern tip of South Africa to northern Namibia.
